Key Fob Controller
The Key Fob Controller (KFC) is a small hand-held wireless controller for use with groups of HEMS-Star® and MIL-Star® battery portable lights.
It is an optional extra with a set of HEMS-Star® or MIL-Star®, stored in the Nanuk carry/charger case.
The KFC is availble in two frequencies: 868MHz and 915MHz for the UK/EU (below left) and USA (below right) markets respectively.
The KFC runs on 2 internal button cells (CR2032) and has an output of 10mW and a control range of approximately 50m depending on the local topology.
The three buttons can select programmes 1 to 4, Flash the lights and put the lights in standby. mode.
Via an internal switch, the KFC can address 1 of 16 light groups.
